Homestead SC is a youth soccer academy in South Miami-Dade for players U7 to U16. What makes us different is who is behind it — and the standard that brings to a field in Homestead every week.

José Luis Villarreal
Former Argentina international · Boca Juniors · River Plate
Born in Córdoba, Argentina in 1966, José Luis Villarreal built a professional career as a midfielder at the highest level of the game — a career that is rare in one specific way: he played for both Boca Juniors and River Plate, the two biggest clubs in Argentine football.
He won the 1992 Argentine championship with Boca, played in Spain, France and Mexico, earned 8 caps for Argentina, and was part of the squad that won the 1992 King Fahd Cup — the tournament that became the FIFA Confederations Cup.
Today he runs Homestead SC, and the players here learn from someone who has actually done it.
A career at the top
1985–1987Belgrano de CórdobaStarted his professional career at home. Won the Torneo Regional in 1986.
1987–1992Boca JuniorsFive seasons at one of the two giants of Argentine football. Won the 1992 Argentine championship.
1991–1993Argentina national team8 caps. Won the King Fahd Cup in Saudi Arabia — the tournament that later became the FIFA Confederations Cup.

A plan for every session
Nothing improvised. Each training day has an objective, and players know what they are working on.
Technique from day one
Our youngest groups spend their time on the ball. Touches before tactics, always.
Competition that means something
FYSA leagues and outside tournaments, so players are tested against real opposition.
